We have created this small blog to keep an update of how Ella's heart operation is going, and maybe any thoughts that are on our minds....and also help keep our minds from worrying during the wait.
Operation all set.
Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.
It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Update..
I have just been told that the surgeon is just about finished and wants to talk with us in about 45 minutes. I asked if all was ok and the receptionist said that she has not been told otherwise.....fingers crossed.
