Operation all set.

Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.

It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

At home now

Ella is resting and we have been told by the nurses that it would be best to sleep at home tonight, so that it what we are doing. It is strange not having Ella here but she is in good hands. We are both exhausted.
Michelle called the hospital earlier to check on things, apparently Ella woke for a moment whilst they changed shifts when the new shift nurse said hello, and Ella waved back.

    Hi Phil, I went to bed last night with you guys on my mind. Im very glad to hear she is on the mend, so catch up on the zzzzs so you have some energy once she is up on her feet.
