Operation all set.

Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.

It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Noise!

Well, it is good that we are now out of the ICU, no bleeps etc. We are no in a room that we are sharing with a baby. The ban on children has been lifted so the babies parents are there with their 3 year old. They are very nice people but Ella is not getting much sleep to say the least.

I am sure that we are making a bit of noise as well, but it is always worse when somebody else is making it.

Rumour has it that Ella will be able to go home on Tuesday, provided everything is ok. :-)
