Operation all set.

Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.

It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Ella's first trip outside


Today Ella was allowed to go on an expedition , she went on a cart onto the rooftop garden. This is her first trip outside since last Tuesday. It took a bit of time to get her ready as the nurse had to disconnect her from all of the equipment and make her mobile. It was well worth it though.
