Operation all set.

Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.

It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Ella is fast asleep on MY lap :-)

Yay! Ella is fast asleep on MY lap. This is the first time that I have held her since her operation :-). The curtains are open and Ella was able to see a tree and the sky for the first time in a few days.
 
We were playing hide the pacifier (dummy) earlier...she was laughing which was really nice.
 
The nurse put some coloured tape on a bottle with a straw hanging out and made a game of drinking water to get Ella drinking more.

    We're all here thinking about Ella and you guys. Hang in there and let us know if you need anything at all that we can bring to the hospital anytime. Give Ella a hug and kiss for us!
