We have created this small blog to keep an update of how Ella's heart operation is going, and maybe any thoughts that are on our minds....and also help keep our minds from worrying during the wait.
Operation all set.
Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.
It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.
Al and I just found out about Ella's surgery. You are all in our hearts and prayers. It sounds like you are past some of the critical steps. Hope Ella has an easy recovery. She will be playing outside with her friends in no time! Love, Al and Sandra
