Operation all set.

Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.

It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Preschool nap

The hospital gives a small 2 hour preschool where children get to play. No medication, check ups or anything like that is allowed in there making the atmosphere more stress free. Ella was so tired and after only a few minutes started to fall asleep. Ella started to cry when Michelle said that she would take her back to her bed so they stayed....Ella completely crashed out.. I think that the atmosphere in the room obviously works, she is a lot less stressed in there.
