We have created this small blog to keep an update of how Ella's heart operation is going, and maybe any thoughts that are on our minds....and also help keep our minds from worrying during the wait.
Operation all set.
Ella is all set for Surgery tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd March) at 7:30 am - we won't see her for 6-8 hours after that. Then it's 5-10 days in the hospital. -- 2-5 of those in the ICU and the rest in a regular room.
It is going to be an early start but it is better as Ella cannot eat for about 12 hours before the operation.

Passy
Ella gone back to sleep again and has her passy (dummy) in her mouth.....as you can imagine this is her morning fix so she is happy.....which means we are happy!.
That's great news! Is she "hands free"? Maybe she'd enjoy some stickers & paper, Play-doh &/or Magna Doodle? Hope parents are getting some rest as well.

ReplyDeleteShe must be sooo happy to have her paci back. Hopefully the Drs will come by and say she is doing wonderfully.
